Analog Squared Paper Discussion Thread.
Thanks, in that case the 15000mah version should be sufficient for a day's operation (one full cycle on the TU-05 internal batt + 1 external battery cycle), should have some left over for charging phone or DAP.. I just checked the size of the 20000mah Anker (185x125x15.5mm) and it is almost...- avid2010

Hi GermanGuy, great to hear that, what's your operating time like with the 10000mah batt? I might buy the 15000mah instead of the 20000mah if you are having 'reasonably good' operating/charging hours on yours... Thanks.- avid2010

Wow, that's huge, however the 52800mah batt is only available for pre-order, while the Anker has ready stocks with a local seller. If you guys think the Anker battery will work since it has the same 12V as the A2P provided charger, I'll just grab it. I'm just not too sure and I don't want to...- avid2010

Hi guys, do you think this Anker Astro Pro2 Battery will work for the TU-05? It is 20000mah and will provide 12V for 4A. Going for a long bus trip (10hrs+) soon and planning to take the amp along. Thanks. http://www.ianker.com/product/79AN20L-SA#ptop- avid2010

Singapore Meet - 7 September 2013.
Jgray91, write it as truthful as it can be, rckyosho is right, no holding back. So that further improvements can be made (if I had more time). I have only 1 pair of ears and it is old :) so the more the merrier ;) Rckyosho, I'm still thinking about the Ember, dunno if I should get it first or...- avid2010

Portaphile Thread
1. I meant to reach out to those who bought the Mk3b or SR-71B and have been using it fully balanced in/out, and have recently bought a 'latest and greatest' single-ended portable amp. 2. I do understand that some who bought these amps (Mk3B, SR71B) might only want to use it single-ended...- avid2010

Quote: Hi guys, is there anyone who have the portaphile 627/x and the RX-Mk3B or SR-71B and compared the performance with the balanced function of the latter 2 amps? To Aero Dynamik: was your above comparison using the single-ended or balanced mode of the Mk3b? The reason I...- avid2010

Orthodynamic Roundup
I have several pairs of ortho headphones, and of those, quite a few pairs were HP50A/S. I found that each pair had slight variance in the sound characteristics. One HP3 was almost perfect with stock damping, great soundstage, just a little lacking in the bass, the first pair of HP50S I bought...- avid2010

:) that photo looks familiar, almost forgot about it. The HP50a/s are my all time favorite as it was a joy to mod and whenever I need to go portable. Though I'm still wondering how I can successfully mod the YHE50 without damaging the clips...- avid2010

Orthodynamic Roundup
Hi guys, need some help with replacement ear pads, I am buying new earpads to replace the old ones in the vintage headphones. I am looking at pure leather options as I find the faux leathers too warm/hot. I have been researching thru this thread and the web and have so far only found ESW9...- avid2010

Orthodynamic Roundup
Thanks Rhythmdevils, I am slowly understanding what the different ways of layering, shape and sizing of the felt does to the sound, even though it is only craft felt. This is my first Ortho and 2nd headphones. So far I am loving it, much better than my HD25i-II in terms of soundstage, mids and...- avid2010
