    5.5g iMod vs. new Classic

    I have been out of the portable gear game for awhile. I read when the Classic iPod 1st came out there was audio "issues". Are those issues still existant with the most current 160gb Classic? Would it sound as good as my 5.5g if iModded and if said issues with the Classic have been corrected?

    Potential dumb iPod question.

    I want to have my iPod modded. I also want to rerecord everything on it using Apple lossless. My question is: and I use a external HDD as the default location for iTunes vs. my desktop. And if yes, what do I do to set it up to do such? Much thanks for any info.

    I have a pair of Krammer modded and my wife does too. The rubbery grey tubes were pulled off to get the Shure e2c soft rubber tips to fit. Do i need to find the old grey tubes and glue them back on so the Comply tips don't slide off and be stuck in our ears? Thanks!
