I still use mine all the time. The only downside to buying them has been that I rarely feel the need to visit head-fi as often. I paid $350 or about 250Eur so sounds pretty close.

Use to use UM1s with the long comply tips with a gas rotary mower. I was able to keep the volume where I normally listen and still hear the song but the mower noise did drown out softer passages. Nowadays I use Koss KSC-75s and a reel mower with not much problem at all. Ant
