Does it make a difference in what kind of a music player you have for your android device (GSIII, running 4.0)? And if so, which is the best one? Sorry if this has been asked before, I'm just new to this whole thing and trying to figure everything out

Audio-Technica ATH-M50 or Shure SRH840? I can't decide between the two, read mostly good things about them both. They both sound like incredibly good headphones for the price range, just dunno which to go with. I mostly listen to rock/metal, occasionally rap or country though.

What is the best place for discovering music not called Pandora or Last.fm? They're both ok but normally just play more mainstream hits it seems like

What are your opinions on their newest album, House of Gold and Bones, Part 1? Personally I think it's some of the best stuff they've ever done, one hell of an album.

I've seen them live twice, great both times. They may not sound like any other nu metal band, but they do sound a lot like Deftones, another good band if you're into Chevelle.
