Why get her budget headphones for Mommas day

Sennheiser Momentum.

Sennheiser Momentum are the best closed headphones. Buy them used like new off seller adgtron on Amazon. They will run you about $240. No box will be included but all the accessories are and you can't beat the Momentums at that price.

But those Grados SR80i only cost $99, why would someone make fun of the cost of those when others are dropping $200-$400 on Beats

I am also in the same predicament but I am leaning towards the Momentum. I can get them for around $250

Update:   I'm very happy with the sound and quality. I wish they didn't stick out so much but I'm used to it now.  I found a lack of bass in my hip hop music, but then again I'm coming in from owning Beats.   I did have one song where the bass was quite impressive so maybe its my music.

When will your reviews of the new Denon line be up?

Yeah I tried it out but I don't know how to mess with the settings. I also couldn't revert the settings back to default so they're all messed up. I also have to use the app as my primary music player in order to notice the change and I rather just keep using the default iPhone music app.

I'll be using my new Denon AH-D600's from my iPhone 5. Anything I should know or do I just plug and play?   I'm too used to Beats I'm not sure if these headphones require more.    Thanks in advance.

Thanks everyone I think I will be very content. The only things I'm concerned about are the clamping force not being strong enough and the headphones being too big. Otherwise I think I made a good but, beats mixrs went back to best buy. Good riddance
