Readjusted pricing from $5000 -> $7000, and condition from Fair -> Good. Realized than an HM1 in the condition I was looking for initially probably will not be available in the used market for another year or two, so now looking for an HM1 that is functioning perfectly; cosmetic flaws or scratches are not an issue.

Also not an issue if it's changed ownership multiple times but original proof of purchase is highly preferred to have since every HM1 in the market should be well under its original 3yr warranty.

I am open to offers so please reach out if you are interested in selling. Thanks for looking!

WA23 retails for $9000 and the lowest it went in classifieds is $5650; HM1 retailed for $8000, I think $5000 isn't outlandish for it used. I am open to offers also, looking for an HM1 from a third/fourth owner of the amp, a fair condition unit is perfectly fine.

Fwiw, you should consider msrp largely just a made up number in audio. Some brands have huge margins to make you feel like you are getting a deal while others offer none. Two amps with the same MSRP will often have wildly different actual costs to the customer. Not to mention, availability plays a huge role in used pricing. Seriously GL, an hm1 would be awesome at this price, but going "well I saw an aic sell for 50% msrp so an X should have the same margin" isn't realy how it works.

It's $9000 USA retail currently, with a waiting list. Plus there's not that many for sale.

You're not going to get hm1 in anything other than immaculate condition too. People at this level don't abuse their gear.

The condition aspect makes sense, had not considered that. A fair condition HM1 might be even harder to find even given its limited availability. I guess I'll close the listing and wait to see if any HM1 pops up that had physical shipping damage or something, that's probably the way only way I'm gonna get one at close to the price range I have in my mind.

Honestly, I'd leave the listing up as you never know. Hell, I managed to get an he1 off of a wtb. Mostly just advising it may take a while

Not necessarily. A lot of guys bring their high-end gear to meet-ups/ shows and it gets banged up and scratched from the travel and setup/breakdown. At the meet-ups I've been to, I've seen $10k amps with plenty of dings. I always thank people for bringing their high-end gear because they're willing to forego the grey-market mint value to share with the community. This is the way.

Another good point, decided to open the listing back up after giving it some more thought since there's always a chance albeit slim. Now wondering if there are any HM1 demo units out there that's been sold for less than retail.

True. When I take my aic places I just wrap it in rags of a beach towel in my tunk. @Danmellinger can confirm
