Selling my Abyss 1266 Phi TC. Both drivers were recently replaced and tested/matched April 2022. The warranty is good until December 2023.

Everything is in excellent condition including pads, headband and frame. However, there is a small amount of visible 1-2 mm indenting of the wire mesh in front of both drivers. Fortunately, Abyss has assured me this has zero effect on the sound. I was given the option for Abyss to replace the mesh involving a process costing $1,500. I declined.

Selling the TC for $3900
Superconductor HP cable *SOLD*
You can get them as a combo for $5300

Does not come with the original wood storage box nor the 10 ft. stock cable, but I will include an Arctic cables headphone cable, with mini-XLR on the headphone side and 4-pin XLR amp termination (use the included adapters for the 1266 mentioned below) I'm also selling the Superconductor HP cable which is 4 ft in length and terminated in dual XLR 3-pin. Comes with standard certificate of ownership, title card, velour bag, guitar pick, and stock female XLR4 to 1/4 inch adapter.

Extras include
1. Variety of different O-rings to allow better fit customization.
2. Two female-to-female 3 pin XLR adapters from Moon Audio. This allows use with the Chord Hugo TT2 rear XLR out
3. Affinityadapter's short adapter plug to allow mini-XLR cables (Audeze, Meze, ZMF, etc) with your TC.

Price includes PayPal fee. Buyer covers shipping on this one. Local NY pickup can shave $100 off the total cost.

I was spoiled by the perfect tonality of the DCA Stealth during the 3 weeks the TC was out for repair. Now that I have it back I just can't make peace with the TC's hollow mids nor fit issues. Otherwise it is a world-class headphone.

PM me if you have any other questions.

You were using 9 o’clock ear pad position? Oh my God, the most uncomfortable setting I believe.
9 o’clock gave the most bassy sound I guess, but I can’t tolerate that the fatter pad towards front.

I actually usually have the seam facing the front and the thickest part toward the back.
