SOLD. Updates: Price Drop! Also, check out the ZMF Pendant thread here--ZMF discontinued the Pendant SE and is offering some other amps including an OTL instead. If you prefer the transparency of a SET design matched to ZMF cans, here's your chance! FYI, the new version of the Pendant is called the LeeLoo and is considerably more expensive: https://www.headphones.com/products/leeloo-desktop-tube-headphone-amplifier.

Up for sale is my ZMF Pendant SE headphone amplifier, made by Ampsandsound. This is the new 2021 version with 8 & 100 ohm outputs. I am the original owner and purchased in late October 2021, so it is less than a year old. Check the reviews, this is an extremely well-regarded tube amplifier. It is in immaculate shape (see photos) and lived in an office in a high rise downtown, completely free of kids, pets, or smoke. Beautiful walnut burl chassis. Details:
  • Single Ended Ultra Linear tube amp—Class A
  • 8 ohm (low-z) and 100 ohm (high-z) outputs
  • RCA inputs
  • Pre-amp outs via RCA
  • EL 84/6BQ5 Driver tubes, 12ax7, 12at7, and 12au7 input tube options, EZ 81/6CA4 Rectifier
  • Transformer based design
  • Stepped Volume Pot (24 steps)
Ships in its original packaging including rugged hard shell flight case, with original power cord and completely unused stock JJ tubes.

I realize I don’t have a ton of feedback here (I have a bit more, though still not a lot, on US Audiomart), so the price includes both insured shipping to mainland US and PayPal Fee. (Ships only to verified PayPal address). Thanks for looking!

have you experienced any noise with this amp?
It's as silent as you can get in a tube amp. I was never able to detect any when listening or trying to find noise, until I tried plugging and unplugging my HPs with no music playing but the volume cranked. I could just barely detect a tiny hum on High-Z. Low-Z was quiet enough that I sometimes I thought there was a tiny bit, but other times dead silent, so I'm going with silent. That said, this was on the after-market vintage tubes I was running (which I subsequently sold). I have never tried the stock JJ tubes--they're unused.

What I can say with confidence is that if you're running good tubes, you will never notice any noise in normal use. You'd have to go looking for it, and really strain even then.
