Just received this part of a trade. It doesn't fit into my setup. I was told the internal mod was done to the capacitors. I'm not familiar with this upgrade but it sounds really good. I'm quite surprised by the bass it put out into my headphones. This makes a great option for desktop use. It comes with power cord 6299 driver tubes protective bag and box.
Elna Silmic II's, caps and a single KZ on the XLR output. With the cap mod the signature stayed about the same but there was a little more impact and speed most noticeable in the bass.
