If you're looking for a superbly musical amp, one that you'll have trouble turning off because it sounds so good, this isn't it. This is more like a frigid girlfriend. If you're a fan of "wire with gain" or whatever the heck that's supposed to mean, God bless you, let me give you my PayPal address. I'll even eat the fees.

Color is fingerprint-magnet glossy black, condition is like new. DACT version. No issues.

Been meaning to get rid of this dreck for years; merely seeing it in my audio rack is giving me agita.

I agree that for me it was not a good pairing. I love the Holo and Mini by themselves for their warmth and bass and fullness. But the two of them together through my RAD-0 was too much for me, too muddy and recessed in the highs for my taste, and lacking excitement in the upper registers. But possibly an interesting combination with the likes of Abyss and Utopia, whose clarity is enough to make up for both, definitely a fun sound.
One thing about Holo and GSX is they hold their value incredibly well on the used market so you are hardly at a loss if you get bored.

Perhaps the MK2 is a better fit?

Interesting, I plan on using the Utopia with the mini and may.

I would NOT recommend that pairing

The GS-X mini seems to be picky about DACs, it will either sound great or terrible. Still haven't figured out why.

That being said, @GoldenOne says he knows people running the combo that love it - so who am I to say 🤷‍♂️
Hey, just curious, what headphones did you use when listening to the mini and the may?

I have heard people complain that the Mk2 is little bit transparent/boring to a fault (including the hilarious OP!), so it may very well pair nicely with the Holo, particularly because they are both true balanced designs, but alas I have not heard this combination. As much as this really is a hobby and a journey and there is no one true system, I think both Holo and GSX are on the must-hear list anyway. I actually still wish I had the Mini and/or Holo sometimes, I've heard some summit-fi stuff and nothing really satisfied me in the bass region like those did.
At this point, the discussion may be better moved out of the classifieds, but I actually think this thread should be eternalized for the lols.
I'd be interested in your thoughts when you get the components together.
