For those unfamiliar, the Torpedo III is a high-voltage, differential hybrid, output transformer-coupled headphone amplifier DIY project from Doug Savitsky (Dsavitsk) of ECP Audio and Tom Blanchard (TomB) of Beezar Audio. There’s a ton of information on the project in the links below.

I love this amplifier but I’ve come to the conclusion that tubes are not very conducive to how I listen so I’m moving back to a solid state amp. This Torpedo III was built by TomB of Beezar with all the approved tweaks and upgrades. Condition is very good, no scratches or defects that stand out to me but rating as good because of its DIY roots. I will note, in my setup I can hear a slight buzz from the transformer. This is not something that comes through headphones and it may just be the power in my house but it’s never been bothersome so I’ve never looked into doing anything about it.

I paid $1150 CAD a little over a year ago. For Canadians, asking $750 CAD + shipping via EMT for US residents, asking $625 USD + shipping via PayPal. At my asking price I will include unused Electro Harmonix 12AT7 tubes plus another pair or two from the 15 or so pairs of tubes I have for it. I’m also willing to negotiate more sets of tubes if desired.
