They're fantastic headphones. If I hadn't heard any better, I'd have kept and loved them for years. But once you go top-tier, it's hard to go back. TC might be a route for me, or Susvara, or Solitaire P. I don't see too many choices at this level :p

I recently bought the TC and I do prefer it to the MR. But, be aware that if you go for the TC (or Susvara), you may miss the more laid-back tuning of the MR. I think the TC and the MR are complementary. If I could swing it, I'd own both. Good luck with the sale. They look stunning!
