Can you let me know which cable you’re using with them?

I roll between 2. On the the really high end I've been using an EA Cleopatra II but it's more than the price of the Xelento. On the lower end I've been using the EA Cadmus. the problem for me with the Xelento Cable is that although its very portable and travel friendly it's ultra thin (and a little tangly). Going to a beefier cable Opens them right up, bring more definition to the bass and more sparkle to the upper registers. For me getting an additional cable is totally worth it. I love the size and the sound. They are beautiful travelling with and the cable just brings out "more". I'm also using after market tips.

I have the same issue with the stock cable. It just doesn’t feel nice and whatever cable I tried with X2, they ended up changing the sound for the worse. Appreciate your suggestions. I will definitely try the Cadmus.

Here's a cheaper alternative to cadmus and of a similar composition, XINHS 8 Core Pure Silver and Pure Copper I've owned a few of them and they are very good and reasonably inexpensive.

I also just received the Divinius Velvet ear tips and holy cow - they're brilliant. they bring out the full texture and depth of the bass and open the upper mids and treble right up Incredible. Give it a try, you may fall back in love with your Xelentos
