Up for sale is a DCA E3, purchased on launch day (Dec 1, 2023) from Headphones.com, original and single owner. The headphones are in perfect, mint condition and have been used only for about 30 hours. Includes original box, travel case, certificate, and brand new / unused stock VIVO cable in its bag (2m length, terminated in 4-pin XLR balanced).
Selling because I prefer the tuning of the DCA Ether C Flow 1.1; it’s slightly more neutral than the E3, and I prefer the comfort of the ECF1.1 as well (I use ZMF Cowhide pads on them rather than stock pads, and with the Cowhides the ECF1.1 is slightly more isolating than the E3). That said, to my ears the E3 is noticeably more dynamic / lively and has a slightly wider soundstage than the ECF1.1, but still, I prefer the ECF; it’s been my go-to since 2018.
Asking for $1,599.00 including PayPal fees and shipping within the Continental US only via UPS Ground, shipped from Southern California (sorry, not looking to ship internationally at the moment, and not looking for trades, either).
