Empire Ears Legend X custom IEM. Purchased from the original owner with the intent to get them re-shelled, but never got around to it. Very low usage by the original owner, no issues. They’ve been stored in the Aegis case. Includes the IEMs, Ares II cable, case, pouch, cloth & cleaning tool. I had planned to send these to itsFit for reshell, check their Instagram for pics. Their prices are very reasonable, you'd be saving over $1k. Price includes shipping (ConUS only), PP F&F would be greatly appreciated, please check my feedback, otherwise 3.5% fee is on the buyer. No trades/offers please.

hey interested in it, but the custom is molded of the previous owner's ear, right? it seems large, do you know how much is it to reshell from Empire Ear? Also any documentation to prove authenticity?

Empire Ears does not offer re-shell services, you'd have to find a third-party company that offers re-shelling services, such as ItsFit, Perfect Seal, etc. As for authenticity, I suppose you could ask EE to run the serial numbers, but I've no reason to suspect they're not genuine. The shells are also translucent so you can see the internals & I've compared them to my universal Legend X and found no discernible difference. Any reputable third-party re-sheller will also check the internals. I suggest reaching out to the re-sheller directly to confirm they can re-shell the IEM; ItsFit can as evidenced by their Instagram post here - https://www.instagram.com/p/CBQY8hLpdD1/

assuming that you don't have the box and the paperwork anymore right?

EE customs don't ship in the same big box as the universals, just the CIEMs & cable inside the case, cleaning tool/cloths & manuals, inside a smaller EE box. The only items missing are the box & manuals. The 2nd pic shows everything included. Feel free to shoot me a PM.

What are the black things that say legend x? Is that a universal pair for comparison?

Yes, universal LX included for size comparison. In case anyone was considering possibly force-fitting them into their ears.

Did you end up re-shelling it? What service did you go with?
I did. I sent mine to itsfitlab in Vietnam. The process was long and shipping was expensive but the design is phenomenal. There are domestic places that have lots of good reviews though and their slightly higher prices are offset by the shipping costs to send stuff to Vietnam. I would say unless you’re looking for his super unique koi fish designs like me then it’s probably easier and safer to stay domestic. There is null audio, dream earz, in earz, advanced acoustic werkes ((Singapore) their prices are good but probably offset by shipping costs).
