Not the same, it has the "anniverary tuning" same as the Sapphire blue and other limited eidtion. To me it is the best sounding version of th900.

not the same as blue version, all the different versions of TH900 sounds slightly different, but I would still say this is the best version(haven't had black )except I just prefer blue color better.
