DIVALDI AMP 01. Very interesting amp.
Manufactured in central Europe, Poland. Class A dual mono fully discrete design.
Output power 850 mW (Class A), 3,5W max. (impuls) to 30 ohm.
It has also phono preamp supporting MM carts. You can plug directly turntable to this amp (tested).
Price for new is 930 EUR and version AMP02 (with upgraded powers supply) cost almost twice - 1740 EUR.
Sound is energetic, very dynamic with warm, natural midrange and punchy low end. I preferred it a lot vs amps like Topping A90 (more organic, natural sound transferring real emotions). It is very good mix of tube-like and transistor sound. You can improve it further with cheap power supply from aliexpress and cables - spending additional 100-200 EUR will give the sound quality that is typical for much more expansive units (around and above 2K EUR).

Summary. The Divaldi AMP-01 is a great example of a small device that's exceptionally present. Many aspects indicate a seasoned well-conceptualized performer. Subjectively it looks gorgeous. There's no capriciousness to its design. Piotr Jagiełłowicz nailed everything. Many headphone amplifiers aren't built as artistic ornaments but rather perfunctory affairs. By contrast, the AMP-01 will make a very classy yet subtle addition to many a desktop. But it's not just a stunning looker. Discrete class A headphone amps usually sound good and I'm happy to say that the AMP-01 fit that description on many levels. Where speed, control and generous density are desired, this product should be taken under serious consideration. Finally, for an €899 proposition, the price/performance ratio is generous to say the least. But what's just as important is that this Polish hifi jewel has an attitude no other headphone amp I known has. It's unique and enchanting, hence worthy of your attention. Bravo!
