These are quite possibly my favorite closed-back headphones.
I guess, technically, they're semi-open, from what I have heard, but I digress.

Very unique midrange that just sounds incredible on some tracks.

Highly, highly underrated HPs. Don’t know how much they really sound like the legendary Sony MDR-R10 as I never heard one but I imagine they’d blown minds if released in the 1980s all the same. Sound good with anything and very open for a closed back.
I agree with you.
This and Stealth are essentially the only closed back style designs I like.

These are my favorite closed headphones, I will never sell them... I had much more expensive models, but the es r10 are great!
The longer these sit for, the more I am inclined to keep them.
I'd agree -- they are likely the best closed-back I have heard to date.
