| The player is in excellent condition and the balanced output works ok the issue is the 3.5 output the volume is intermittent and mostly drops out and you can only hear it when you turn it up nearly full then it is distorted, basically I’d say the 3.5 definitely needs looking for a possible repair. I’ve tried all the usual cleaning the port and swapping cables and it makes no difference. I’m selling as spares or repair as even though it works on balanced I don’t want to give false hope it can be repaired as I don’t know anything about the Sony player internally and I’m sure it’s going to need to be opened up. Please only buy if you understand what your getting a partial working player sold as spares or repairs, no refund can be offered if the repair is unsuccessful or simply cannot be done. The price is relevant to what I’m selling and can give a bit of play if you wanted to spend money on a possible repair. Remember spares or repair no refund no exceptions. Breaks my heart to see this player in such a good visual condition not working as it should. |
