Oh man I had this amp 5 or so years ago! I bought it from the guy who custom made that wood trim. Know what happened to the top panel?

Yeah--what happened to the wooden transformer cover?
I was the original owner of this amp and did the wooden trim--I don't even remember selling it with the wooden trim--I thought I'd kept it. Good thing I never went looking for it. I also don't remember selling it to @ZJee. Definitely had to be more than 5yrs ago--maybe almost 8yrs ago?. What a throwback to see it up F/S.

As soon as I saw the wood and the realized it was missing the top piece I realized it must be yours.
You had used that as your avatar for quite some time back then. Nice to see it.

Yes--I did use it as my avatar, which I also forgot.
I had some really beautiful photos of this amp after doing the wooden trim attached to my photos on Head-Fi--but unfortunately, this option is no longer available and they're no longer in my photo album on my Mac.

Must have been someone in between us then. I honestly dont remember where I got it. The panel was just held with some bluetac when I got it. I almost drilled some holes to mount it with the transformer panel screws, shame I never did!
Found an old photo album I made when I was trying to sell it: https://imgur.com/gallery/lMKExKs

Yeah--I used the Blu-Tack for the transformer and clear silicone for the rest of the wooden panels so they wouldn't;t come off due to heat. Thanks for posting the photos--I appreciate it!

Wow, the top panel really tied that amp together. It's actually pretty amazing to see this amp have so much history

Awesome photos--thanls o much for sharing them, they really bring back some great memories of doing the wooden trim, as well the tubes bezels and enjoying this amp for so many years. If I had the room and knew I was going to us it enough I'd buy it back just because I was the original owner.
