Am selling this pair of Transparent MusicLink XLR 1,0 meter cables as seen in the pictures, aka what you see is what you get.
This is leftover 'new old stock', imported by me back when i was still a distributor (retired now), brand new in the box.
- Original item, contrary to so many counterfeit "used" Transparents out there.
- Unused being of import, gold being a soft material; the better the plugs they attach to, the tighter the contact -which is accoustically good-, but the higher the friction too. Gold does wear of.
- These are good cables on their own merit, ie without taking into account a price-to-performance ratio; that factored in too, they will surprise you, nothing in this price range is even near them and you've my word on that one. They do exactly what it says on the box, get out of the way; no colouring, no over-pronounced highs, lows, mid-lows, you name it, no screeching or sugaring. Transparent.
We need cables in our signal chain, an unfortunate axiom. And just like anything else, they tend to "add" in said signal chain, distort or alter no matter how slightly. Enter these, made not to impress with artificial boosting or altering, but to allow for as little interference as possible. And you'll hear that.
Even with this 'modest' set, one can expect blacker blacks, a better defined/clearer soundstage, more distinct or evident instrument separation, no nuances added by the material(s) used.
Retail, these went for around 480€.

This item is properly functioning; technically speaking, it performs in 100% the way the manufacturer intended it to. Am a qualified technician and i have (re)checked this, with the relevant technical equipment, prior to making this listing.
As such, the "eBay phenomenon", aka refund requests purporting "malfunction", aka in actuality a smokescreen for the so very common "try and return" tactic, will not be grounds for a refund. You agree to this beforehand.
