Selling my lovely cayin HA-3A. The amp is simply in perfect state: bought, sat there and seldomly used as I acquired its 300B big brother some months after it. I like these cayin amps a lot, they are very well designed and sounding, have switches to select the headphones output so you can match the impedance properly if using more headphones in parallel (since only one is really connected at each time) and the topology is really differential, so you can hear the gain boost when entering and exiting balanced.

About this unit
This unit is exactly one year old, with receipt form German official dealer Cayin Audio Distribution GmbH. Perfectly working and aesthetic conditions. All original packaging are present and will be used for shipping. Shipping will be done with UPS or DHL, usually 3 days in Europe.

Big Price drop to sell this week, then listing will be closed

Good evening, a bit of a starnge question maybe...have you tried the amplifier with IEM's. I own Final A8000 which are for an IEM quite hard to drive so my DAP (Shanling M9) does well but I feel it might need some more power to perform at its best.
Any thoughts?
Best regards
Bert

Hi, I don't own or use any iem tbh, but I won't worry about power/efficiency since, for example, I use my abyss ab1266 TC with it with volume at 9... so it has plenty of power, even more than my ha300 mk2 actually, where I have to crank the volume up to 11/12 to get similar loudness. On top, cayin amps have that balanced output that targets iem that usually come in handy having a more iem target profile. So I really don't see any use case where you won't drive any inefficient iem or headphones properly.

I indeed saw the 4,4mm balanced output, many thanks I am seriously considering this one. Just a bit more reflection...
I live in Belgium, shipping not an issue

I also have this amplifier, with IEM and I have tried several, it's fantastic, no noise or disturbance despite the considerable power
