I recently bought a pair of AKG k702 headphones that I'd like to upgrade to a balanced connection. Unfortunately, I don't have the tools to perform this mod using this guide: https://www.head-fi.org/threads/guide-balanced-akg-k702-with-detachable-4-pin-mini-xlr-cable.483861/

I'd like to find someone who can perform the modification for me--it is supposed to be quite quick. Once I have an offer, I will purchase the new parts for the mod. Preference will be given to those close by. Anyone live in NYC?

Not sure tbh, ik there’s a couple groups here for diy stuff. They might know where to go. Search DIY or Modding here.
