I acquired these wonderful hp’s in a trade recently. They are in perfect working order and in outstanding condition. They have a blemish on the connector that I didn’t notice until I looked hard. They have the new pads and were updated in 2021. They are the 2020 model. I can’t keep so many hp’s so they are for sale. I have including a very nice audio sensibility balanced cable in addition to the stock cable which I would include for an additional 200 dollars.

Lowered price making this quite a bargain I believe

sale pending!

Would be good to see both grilles and inside cups plus packaging and leads.
More visual info the better 👍🏻
These headphones are absolutely mint. They are perfect minus the little Nick that takes effort to see above the left connector. In addition, they are fully upgraded to the new version and they come with a $400 plus silver audio sensibility cable that is perfect for their tuning.

I can vouch for their quality as they were mine. They glare amazing and at that price you cannot find better, nor will you find a better person on head-fi to deal with.

Let’s go community! Let’s get these beauties sold!

Or maybe keep ‘em as they are so good! :)

I am NOT surprised these headphones have not sold.

The market is very very weak. And these headphones are very very underappreciated. Also- everyone wants the new models on the market, and this headphone is already several years old. ZMF and DCA come up with a new headphone every few months. People think newer is better- not always so....

In truth I owned the LCD-5 and think the 4z is a better hp or at least tuned better if not technically better

Theese are wonderful headphones IMHO. I have them myself. They are a half step behind the LCD-5 in technicalities, but have a much better tonalaty and frequency response. Tuning is superb- full bodied, physical, energetic....

Sound 85% like the now crazy famous Caldera. 4Z has better technicalities, more bass, a bit more physical, sligtly smaller soundstage- but a in the same category of the type of sound delivery as the Caldera, yet totally unaapreciated...

You are right, and the 4z is as good a headphone as there is out there for just pure joy of listening. I am just shocked that no one has picked up this headphone from one of our best head-fi members. It is just too good from a quality and seller point of view to still be up for sale.

Price need to go down around $100 to $200. I know it is already underpriced relitive to what we would expect, but we are in a new market and prices have dropped significantly....... IMHO of course. The seller is in charge of his headphone, not me..

It is actually a great maektet to buy used as the difference between used and new prices is spreading. I see 1266 phi TC's going for $3550, $3,800. I see DCA Expanse going for $2200, and $2600..

Don't buy new. Used stuff in brand new condition for half is the way to go...
