The original silver plated cable didn’t do these IEM’s any favors. Strident treble plus upper midrange spikes. These chestnuts are well noted in many a review. I’ve replaced the cable with a new NiceHCK 16 core copper cable 4.4mm balanced that helps tame the vicious top end. They just sparkle now, even shimmer, very nice.

Original owner, these have no where near the 200 hours Fiio recommends for burn-in. I’ve put 75 hours on them.
