I never thought this day would come, but the Devil whispered in my ear to try Arya, and as much as I love the Era-1’s for their smoothness, resolution and slam, the Arya turned out to be even more to my liking for their clarity and soundstage, especially for classical music and jazz, which I listen to. Alas the Arya cost twice as much as the Era-1's...

I had two pairs of Era-1 and sold my backup pair first, holding on to the primary pair just in case my ears change their mind. They have not, and so it is time to pass the Era-1 on to someone who will use them more than I.

Here are the disclosures: The box is in rough shape. The paper flap has been detached (it is still included), and the cardboard box originally containing the velour pads is missing (as are those pads). Brand new OEM Quad fenestrated angled pads are included (these are mounted on the headphones in the pics). Two more pairs of new aftermarket genuine sheepskin pads (on mounting rings!) are included: one angled pair and one not. [For my listening I used ZMF oval lambskin pads, which I am keeping! ]. Original cables are also not included (I am including an aftermarket cable that I used). Finally and importantly, the underside of the headband has started to deteriorate at the top. You will need to get a cover for it. All Era-1 have this issue sooner or later.

Price is firm, at a bargain of USD$425 shipped within USA. I cannot ship these internationally.

I am not looking for trades.

Hi,
Great price even with the fine print you pointed out.

@Pendel got back to me to let me know they use 3.5mm connections.

Thanks for the info. In the meantime GLWS. These should move fast.

In fact other than the important fact that I did just spend a touch of $ on an unexpected enjoyment I would have bought these right away.

Selling a headphone and would like to get this one again. I actually don't like 98% of planar magnetic. But these and T60rp are closer to a dynamic experience with more resolution. Arya same problem and wonder if tiny planar vs a large driver is the reason. So if I sell the Diana today I'll be hitting you up.

Hi,
Great price even with the fine print you pointed out. What type of termination do they use to attach the cable to the headphone?

Thanks for the info. In the meantime GLWS.

Thanks, the guy above sounds hot, hope he sells his headphone soon.

I am very tempted but am currently downsizing the collection, too much stuff.
