This is a b-stock, but as you can see it looks (and sounds) great. I love the waxed monkeypod wood with black hardware.

- Uni Solid Pad (My personal favorite on the VC)

UPDATE to the pics: I'm removing the stock Auteur Solid pads because I've been using them on my Atrium Closed.

Heyo, I have a nice pair IEM's. The QDC Anole VX that is similarly priced to these and I see that you're trying to downsize. Would you be interested in possibly trading? I had a chance to listen to the ZMF VC at the Schiitr and fell in love with the string timbre almost instantly and have been dying to try a pair of these in my own home.

Hey @Starfall119 I'm not an IEM person. They never work for my ears unfortunately. Thanks though! I need to go check out that Schiitr spot. The VC is really amazing at strings I totally agree. It is the most natural closed back I've heard. What amp do you use? I find that the VC def benefits from a warmer amp that has some higher impedance options.

I just want to state that the Anole is a very well rounded IEM when it comes to comfort, I was surprised by them when I got them because I have the same issue with other IEM's, unless they're like Airpod Pro's, but those are more earbud-y. The Anole has a great universal shape that a lot of reviewers didn't have much of a problem with and you can look it up if you so desire.
As for the amplification; I have a Jotunheim 2, Lokius, Bifrost 2/64 stack with a Magni Piety for some more punch on the low end and timbral tube like characteristics for the lower impedance phones. And a Bottlehead Crack for the 300/600 ohm dynamics when I so desire it.

Why is this b-stock? Is it that black spot there near the gimbal?

Yeah for ZMF b-stock is just wood that has some areas they have to improve like that. They don’t point it out specifically. Let me know if you’d like more pics of anything. B-stock never changes the sound of a VC. Drivers are the same etc.
