Hello,

I´m selling my vintage Grado RS-1 Classic version, bought used. I will also accept a trade with a Grado PS500e as long as it is in good shape.

It is in good condition, working flawlessly, with firm and steady gimbals. With time they tend to get loose but this is not the case.

It comes with brand new Grado F-Pads (original pads of the Headphone) that I bought for it recently.

No original box as it didn't come with it when I purchased it.

The price includes shipping to any country of the European Union (I'm from Lisbon, Portugal and tracking number will be provided).

PayPal fees are on me.

I will only ship within the European Union.

I will only deal with members that already have some positive feedback. Thank you for understanding.

Thank you for reading and cheers.

Wow...this headphone is in great condition.

An excellent headphone in excellent shape. Someone in Europe is going to be a lucky Grado owner.

GLWS!

Thank you! I'm just sad that budget won't allow me to keep it. Unfortunately any new purchase has to be compensated with a sale.:sweat_smile:

Sorry to hear, great headphone very nicely priced.

Do you have anything that could be sold instead?
Good Luck with the sale. Sell a nice pair of shoes 👞

Hello friend,

I got nothing worthy of a sale left. I´m receiving a used Empyrean and it is by far my most expensive purchase to date. That is the reason why it is in the classifieds.

Anyway, I´m trying to find a solution to see if I can avoid selling it, but not an easy task.

Thank you for your words.

Cheers.

Which amp are you using most of the time? The Rupert Neve is nice but maybe you could get by with the Schiit for now. I had one, liked it but eventually sold it when I began my downsizing. They come up on occasion, usually $400-$450 range. Maybe the Gold 325 while not so common and the 599 might fill the need. That RS1 Vintage button is one of my top sound choices in a Grado.
I sold the three I had from a friend and all three buyers were amazed and thrilled with the performance.
Just thoughts.

Be well,
Joe

Sorry Joe, only saw your answer now. I tried to sell the Rupert a while ago but it is not very popular here in Europe. I went down to 450 but not willing to go further as I bought it new and it is not even 6 months old. Now, with the Empyrean, I feel it is gonna have lovely synergy with it (from what I read). A warmer and darker HP with a more neutral amp. On the other hand the Schiit is lovely with the Grado.

I´m waiting to receive the Empyrean, and experience it, so that I can settle in my final decisions.

Nevertheless I´m working, at the best, to just keep everything. That is my wish for sure, unless the Meze won't meet my expectations, one never knows. It should fit my listening style like a glove, but we´ll see.

Thank you!

Cheers.

I think you will like the Empyrean, I was in a loaner group and had one for a couple of weeks. Both the Rupert Neve and the Schitt should sound good with the new and current headphones.
