Recently bought to compare with my flagship dynamic driver. (MiM OG Dark Magician) It is just as good but I like the exclusivity and extreme rarity of the Dark Magician, so it stays.

That would mean these aren't "new in the box" either though I suspect that may have just been a case of selecting the wrong option on accident.

Yes I did. He hasn't replied since. I've already reported this matter to the devs. The post above confirmed it for me that this seller is indeed a scammer. I was being kind incase he was busy and couldnt reply the last week. But now, it's confirmed. Thanks.

I'm the one who took the photo of that item. I sold the Twilights to a user on the HifiGuides forum and not this individual. Likely a scam.

I'm hoping this ad gets shut down soon. Also, hoping there's an explanation beside one involving an 8 year member turning into a scammer overnight. I guess we'll see...😔

I sent the lister a JH Contour XO for a new in the box LCDi4. he sounded and looked legit but now all these warnings are popping up. I have not heard from him since April 14.

Damn it! I'm very sorry to hear this. I don't understand why someone would participate on a forum like this for years, even buying and selling in good faith apparently, and then one day turn into a complete creep. I don't know if it's a case of his account having been hacked or if it's the same guy and his life has just gone off the rails with financial issues, drug addiction, or whatever. Either way, stuff like this makes good people reticent to participate freely and I hate it. I mean, even with me it's stories like this that keep me from participating in trades with very few exceptions (like personally knowing someone or having a mutual friend vouch).

At this point you should probably think about contacting the mods if you haven't already and then look at other possible options like reaching out to law enforcement with any information you may have on him. I hope there's some kind of resolution to be had here and I wish you the best of luck in the pursuit of it. 🤞😔
