Hello peeps,
For sale is my beloved cap modded MJ2. This unit was personally modded by a gentleman headfi member Keith Sorota. I have over $1500 invested in this unit. Also included are a set of socket adapters 6922 > 12axx that also acts as a socket saver which makes tube rolling a breeze. Also it helps dissipate heat better than the tubes installed inside the amp.
The cap mod takes this amp to a another level. It is by far, one of if not THE best tube hybrid amp in existence. Very detailed, clean, engaging sound. It has the transparency of a SS amp while maintain tubey characteristics of the tubes. I highly recommend using 12AT7 tubes with this amp. It should have plenty of gain and enough power to drive the Susvara. With 8w of power /channel, this amp can run just about anything out there. Fully balanced input/out makes this extremely versatile with balanced dacs.
I have owned this amp for little over a year and had it cap modded back in January, 22. Item is in excellent condition with no blemishes or scratches.
I will not include any 12at7 tubes with the sale. But i would be glad to sell some separately (please pm for tubes prices).
