This vintage DAC/preamp is from the late 90s, and is the grandfather of the schiit yggdrasil. While the preamp and surround are a little dated, the combination of multibit and r2r chips it uses make the DAC still quite competent. Windows does still recognize this as an audio device, and I actually used it as my headphone system dac for nearly a year until I finally upgraded. There isn't a lot of info about this online, so I'd be more than happy to answer questions about it.
