I'm letting my TC's go. I simply don't get to spend enough time listening to headphones right now to justify keeping these in my collection.
Typically you only have one pad option with the TC's, but this one comes with a pad adapter and 5 sets of pads. All of the pads alter the sound quite drastically allowing for many different sonic signatures. My favorites are the ZMF Hybrids and the Audeze perforated pads. Both sound significantly better than the stock pads to my ears. The Audeze pads in particular added a bass rumble that felt visceral much like a subwoofer which I was not expecting.
Everything they say about bass, detail, and resolution with these is spot on. These will also come with 2 extra cables.
I don't have a lot of trades that I'm genuinely curious about, but I will happily consider one of the following or something comparable:
Audeze MX4
Audeze LCD-5
Hifiman HE1000SE
Stax SR-007
