Interesting timing. I actually just received an X16 today. I've owned many DACs that cost thousands, and in my opinion, the X16 is the best value. In addition to outperforming plenty of more expensive DACs (both in terms of the actual sound as well as measurements), it's the most affordable DAC I know of with all the features I want, including an I2S HDMI input, IEC inlet and fuse drawer. Plus it looks freakin' cool.

It’s a very nice dac indeed! I plan on going all schiit gear if I can sell this dac and amp.
