Production limited to 180 pairs; this pair is in very close to immaculate condition and has seen very little use. They definitely still have the new car smell. Comes with the original bill of sale (Noteworthy Audio, $5400 CAD), box, cardboard, manual etc... I have had five pairs of 009/009S and can confirm that this pair is excellent.
As reported, the BK have the treble presentation of the SR-009S (new earpads, a little more neutral and restrained than the 009), but the bass and mids of the OG 009 (a little more expressive than the 009S). These (small) side-by-side differences can be heard both on the OG DIY T2 and SRM-007tii. Of the bunch, the BK are my favorite (SR-009, SR-009S, SR-009BK).
