Up for sale I’ve got a one of a kind pair of Modhouseaudio Argon MKIIIs. This particular set has been modified to a hardwired dual entry configuration by the now defunct BTGaudio using a high quality furutech OCC copper cable and ¼ plug. The cable is 2 meters, jacketed in paracord and very supple with no annoying coiling or memory. The raised text and logo on the cups were sanded and the original connector hole was filled, allowing a full sized black decal to be placed on the cup panel giving them a more symmetrical look.

This set was made for me by Ryan of modhouseaudio in early 2018 and saw some heavy use for the first year. After dabbling further in planars I finally got the sound I wanted from the Hifiman he6se so I wanted to sell these excellent cans instead of letting them languish in storage as they have for the past couple years.

I purchased a new deerskin comfort strap which has been installed, so that’s fresh and the pads have been thoroughly cleaned and show no signs of wear. Few small scuffs on the cups, but nothing I’d fret about. Smoke free home, no weird smells, as stated these have been stored for 2 years now so I just wiped them down with a microfiber to remove any dust so they’ll come very clean. Original t50rp box was junk and has been discarded, but I will package them well.

If you are thinking about running these balanced, almost any headphone cable maker should be able to reterminate these with a balanced XLR connector for TRUE balanced operation with no internal crossovers. Or, mini XLR and run a hart audio interconnect setup.
