Want to try the Abyss experience but don't have 6 grand. This a cost effective way to live with one and decide if the move to TC is worthwhile for you in the future, or maybe you'll be happy to go long-term with this Phi. This package includes both OG and new CC ear pads, OG and current headbands, a thick padded velcro wrap for the headband for additional comfort (the name manufacturer eludes me at present), an assortment of “O” rings (although I’ve never had one break), the original display box and packing materials, original double shipping carton, stock 4 Pin Cable "&" JPS 4 Pin to SE Adapter, and a 10’ Silver Dragon Cable for the 1266. The new style ear pads alone cost $400.00 to replace, he new style headband alone costs $300.00 to replace. The10 foot Silver Dragon costs $585.00.

uhhh... this is a stupid fantastic deal on one of the most dynamic and punchy planars out there. Congrats to whomever snaps this one up.

I tried to correct a small spelling error, web pages are taking forever to load I'm struggling to get this listing corrected.

OK corrected a minor spelling issue, the whole process only took about an hour! Checking PM's now.

Sorry, yes it is sold. I believe I marked it as such earlier today.

This website has been acting squirrely most of the day for me, pages taking a long time to load. It is marked "Sold" when I check it in "My Listings" I'm not sure why it isn't showing as such above.

I know I could have held out for a bit more money on everything I've sold since I started the process in mid October. While the classifieds here on head-fi show 5 or 6 sales I've made over 2 dozen. Head-Fier's familiar with me over the past few years and aware that my signature on every post was a rundown of all my gear proactively contacted me and bought most of my collection before I could even list it.

I'm downsizing to a retirement community in April and losing 50% of my living space but going from 3 floors to one is necessary at this point in my life. That coupled with hearing issues detailed here tell my tale of woe.

https://www.head-fi.org/threads/schiit-happened-the-story-of-the-worlds-most-improbable-start-up.701900/

My audiophile hobby has reached the end of the road. Believe me, I planned to be buried with my gear, never expected the hearing issue to arise. So I have been motivated to move equipment out and looked realistically at how old the equipment was, (but all of it was purchased after Jan 2016) and priced it so I hoped it would sell quickly, and it did. I'm down to just my Susvara and a small desktop cd transport, one SE switchbox and one Balanced switchbox. Then I can donate the 100's of cd's and books I have, and other collectibles, to Salvation Army for them to sell and make money for the otganization. Then it's on to all the work related clothes I have not worn since 2009. And still, I'll have to call 1-800-"take my stuff" to clear out furniture and some gym equipment that will cost me several thousand dollars.

Downsizing Suks!
