Posting once more - I am in the process of moving and before I pack this up for storage I wanted to give someone another chance.

For sale is an excellent entry level Stax system. This would be perfect for someone who is looking to get into the wonderful world of Stax at a reasonable price point.

Purchased used, this was my first Stax system and I have absolutely babied these. If they weren't on my head they were on the stand with the dust cover on. I am selling only because I am looking to move up the ladder to 500 series, L300 Limited, 404 Limited, etc.

The SRS-2050 set includes the SR-202 Earspeaker and SRM-252a Driver and 100v AC power supply.

Along with this, I am including the Stax HPS-2 stand (+/- $90), Stax CPC-1 dust cover (+/- $30) as well as a good quality 120v to 100v converter that I have used for the 252s since I bought this system several years ago (+/- $40).

The pads have been upgraded to the SR-507 sheepskin leather pads (+/- $150) which is a huge upgrade in comfort over the thin pleather pads that these originally came with. The original pads are included so if you wanted to, with some new adhesive, you could reinstall them.

Everything is in good working condition. Cosmetically, there are some minor blemishes on the 252a from sitting on a desk and a small amount of adhesive on the sides of the 202 which didn't bother me enough to bring goof off or any other solvents anywhere near these. The foam is in good shape with no deterioration. I am not a smoker or vaper and there are no stains, funky smells or grime. These are clean.

I am available for a local sale (I am in middlesex county NJ) and I will adjust the price accordingly for a cash sale. While this system was sold to me in the original box, it retained little of the original packing materials and the original box is in rough shape however I'm confident that I can pack it safely.

I have a significant amount of positive feedback on r/AvExchange as well as here on Head-Fi and a perfect 100% seller rating on eBay but I am more than happy to discuss more to ensure any buyer is comfortable.
