Only 2 months old. All original packaging in like new condition. Why am I selling? I bought the Audeze CRBN and need the cash :) This is the new model with the better headband and removable cable.

The STAX SR-L500 MK2 is the new midrange model in STAX’s L-series and offers the same removable cable and upgraded headband of its cousin the SR-L700 MK2. The SR-L500 MK2 uses a well-balanced driver, with the open, airy sound you expect from a STAX headphone.

It was a great price for the L500 MK2 and I feel sorry that I missed it too. But there is no need to get upset. Just keep looking. I think there are a couple of L300LTD and L300 with upgrades (will be close to L500) available on the US Audio Mart. The L300LTD is tempting (I regret to have sold mine a little while ago).

Now I am wondering what CRBN would sound like. Some review said the CRBN out performed the Stax 007.
