Based on the posting and the messages exchanged which I will share here:
"These were not fixed, these are a new set. I originally had another HeadFi member purchase a set of Trios off me, upon arrival to him they were completely destroyed internally. 64A noted that a very strong magnet must have been placed near them destroying the BA drivers and damaging the Dynamics. This was a total loss, and they charged me to replace the set entirely. Therefore the set is in brand new condition, with no scratches and no dents, and all new housing and logo shell as well. If you look at my classifieds posting history you can find the original set that was damaged in transit and compare it to the new one with an updated faceplate."

I'm selling a like new set of trio severely discounted and greatly taken care of.
These were only ever used inside, in a smoke free environment and will even include a set of JVC spiral dots...matched with my L&P Pro 6 these have been truly exceptional and have offered great sonic enjoyment with all genres of music

Additionally, I can include a Empire Ears Stormbreaker cable which I bought specifically to use with the Trio. I bought these off of user @dleblanc343
