The hits in my personal life just keep coming so I'm selling the best earbuds I've ever used. Probably getting out of the earbuds hobby entirely, might reinvest some of this in IEMs if I can. Sennheiser MX985, modded for detachable cable use. (I didn't get one when I got them.) Gutted I have to let these go so soon after receiving them but them's the breaks. Pelican style clasp case and earbuds, if you want me to throw in a cable so you can use these the moment you get them then let me know, will be a little extra. Shipping is on me.

I will maybe consider a trade if you've got something of similar calibre in the IEM world but would prefer the cash. Thanks for looking.

Hi Carrow,
I own two pair sennheiser MX980. They look very similar to the MX985's.The steel part is the same. Very happy with them but im planning (for some time now) to replace the cables because the outer black insulator rubber on the cables is breaking up. Wanted to have detachable cables like yours. Ive been looking arround for which connectors to use.Can you show me where to buy the connectors you used? Is it a two pin connector or some sort of mini-mini jack? Thanks in advance
