I actually never use stock HP cables for all my headphones except for the Denon D7000 which uses 7n copper. I used Norne Vygarde and Forza Hybrid Noir for the rest of my headphones including the Meze Elite. I can't really tell you from personal experience.

However, I've read the PCUHD is definite improvement over stock cable from the guys who compared them in the Meze Elite thread. The cable has excellent built quality with beautiful connectors on both ends. Being silver-plated copper I believe it will give you sparkling highs compared to stock copper cable.

Just got the elite, it seems that they stopped the 3 different cable versions now everything besides 1/4” is special order. My hesitation is that for a few bucks more you can get a proper aftermarket cable

I have compared the PCUHD against Forza Noir Hybrid (which is copper/silver) and can't tell much difference even though the PCUHD is not even broken in. You will get sparkling highs very sweet midrange and good sub-bass. Resolution is just as good as the Utopia. To be honest I would have kept the PCUHD if my Elite is silver. I have the German Dark Mystery Elite so black Forza Hybrid Noir headphone cable matched better. The PCUHD is a better built quality than all my Forza and Norne cables no doubt. The connectors are beautiful high quality in real life.

Yes I'm in CA. USPS 2 day Priority Mail with tracking. Almost forgot, I still have the original leather case and box and will send them along with the headphone cable.
