Eddie Current Studio (Tribute) in all black. Cosmetically in very good condition, a few small nicks in the paint around the top edge that could be easily repaired if you wanted to. Note that the light bounces funny on the panel's edge, it's not a scrape.
Shipping in original packing materials (two large boxes) to the US is included, but if you're local to Tampa we can arrange pickup. The PSVANE 2A3-TII tubes in the pic have approximately 100 hours of use on them and are included. The two pairs do have different bulb sizes despite being the same model, so I ran them symmetrically. You can run two matched pairs in a configuration like this, or run a matched Quad if you can get your hands on some.
As a note, these tubes will make a high-pitched sound for the first 10 seconds due to the high-frequency AC applied to the heater, which is normal. All tubes will squeal briefly in this amp with the high voltage AC applied but to different degrees until the warm-up cycle completes. In comparison with the EML 2A3 Mesh Plate tubes (already sold), the EML set was a bit quieter when powering up. It also ships with 3 spare power supply tubes.
Anyway, after those 10 seconds and some time to come up to temperature the listening experience is incredible. So incredible that I haven't posted in several years since I bought the amplifier new - it really is an endgame amp. It's every bit as good as people say. It is the best amplifier I've ever heard. I've decided to downsize a bit, and since my hearing is declining I think it's time I sell to a new owner who will appreciate it.
