Selling my beloved Focal Utopias to fund a turntable upgrade. I hadn't planned on selling these but a major bargain on a VPI Classic turntable popped up locally and I kinda have to have it.
I have treated these very gently and loved them. I bought these on Head-Fi and then bought a new set of pads from Moon Audio for $250 because I wanted to see how the included pads compare to new. Turns out the pads I already had were just as nice as the new ones and sound the same, so the new ones have just been sitting there unused.
These come with the stock XLR cable and some sort of fancy looking aftermarket single ended cable that has a 1/8" termination with a 1/4" adapter on it.
These come from a smoke free home, have been well cared for and babied, and sound simply amazing. Seriously. Pinpoint imaging is unmatched. Faster than ZMF Verite open and closed. Punchy AF. Bass texture that's insane. I've never heard anything like these and I have heard a whole lot of headphones.
