Up for sale is a Massdrop X DCA (formerly Mr.Speakers) Ether CX, purchased in March 2019 direct from Massdrop (now Drop), sole owner. Headphones are in excellent condition with no scratches, dents, etc. These have been used in phases but have mostly been properly stored, and the stock pads are basically brand new (I swapped them from day one with ZMF Cowhide pads), and the cable is brand new and never used (1/4” termination; it’s sealed so I’m not sure what the length is, but it is the stock default cable). Comes from a smoke and shedding pet free home and comes with all tunning inserts (never used), product card, cable as described above, and carry bag.

Asking for $530.00 including PayPal fees and shipping within the Continental US only via UPS Ground (sorry, not looking to ship internationally at the moment, and not looking for trades, either).

COMPARED TO ETHER C FLOW 1.1: The ECF slightly edge these in detail retrieval (which is why I almost always reach out to the ECF), but the CX is ever so slightly wider and more dynamic and has a bit more sub-bass. Note that these thoughts are based on both headphones having ZMF Cowhide pads (not with stock pads) and without any tuning inserts.

BTW, try these with ZMF Cowhide pads for deeper sub-bass, slightly wider stage, and a bit subdued highs if you’re treble-sensitive.
