Hi everyone,
Selling a pair of the Fostex x Massdrop THX00 Mahogany. For anyone who's unfamiliar with how this compares vs. the Ebony and Purpleheart, I've included the graph.
Selling because I just picked up a TH900 from a friend here. In comparison, the 900 has a much punchier low end, somewhat recessed mids, and can get a little shouty depending on the song... but the bass. The X00 has a fuller midrange, more relaxed top end, and is much more forgiving.
Overall, I'd say they're in good condition with the tiniest bit of paint scratched on the edges as circled in the photos. No original packaging, just the headphones and an aftermarket Geekria case.
For what they are, I think they're incredible sounding. Soundstage is surprisingly wide for semi-closed.
Would be open to trades for other headphones with PayPal for any difference in either direction. Interested in the Modhouse Argon, TR-X00 Ebony, etc.
