For sale by original owner: Bottlehead Crack headphone amplifier with Speedball upgrade.

I’ve had this beautiful tube amp for 3 years now. It was meticulously hand built by a guy who specializes in these. He now sells via Etsy and charges a $400 fee to build these. Pictures of the original build are still on Etsy. It has been carefully used and sounds amazing with 300 ohm headphones like Senn 650s and 800s. Input tube is 12AU7 and power tube is the 6080/5998/7236.

Condition is excellent. Please note this is a DIYers amp thats hand built and its not going to be as refined from a fit and finish standpoint as say a Woo Audio amp. That said, the sound is world class and I think you would have trouble finding a nicer one than this actively for sale anywhere today.

$550 no tubes. $600 with stock tubes. I have found the best sound with a Mullard CV4004 ($180) and a 7236 ($75), I can ship those for $100 more.
