I'm in the market for a new headphone an upgrade to my Focal Elears. Could you please tell me when these were originally purchased and if you are the original owner? Also do you have any idea how they would sound compared to my Elears. Thank you.

I'm not the seller: I have Elears (and Elegia, and Clears). The Stellia is a dramatic step up from the Elears in terms of materials (beryllium, which is also used in the flagship Utopia) as well as sound quality. The biggest difference is that these are closed back versus the open back Elears. I'll leave it to you to search around for those implications. Sufficient to say, if you like the Focal sound (and I do), the Stellia is a big step up in that house.

The 1299 is a TOTL headphone and the elear is is entry level, like comparing a lambo to carolla.

It's not their fault. I actually changed the posting from focal to Abyss 1266 to lessen the clutter on the forms.

Ohhhh makes sense I guess, didn’t even think of people doing that. I always leave mine as a sort of public record of the transaction to help people get a better feel for current market prices.

That's true but I actually gave them away for (shipping cost only) to a friend so my price wouldn't be accurate anyways lol
