I am selling mine as pictured below. It is in perfect working condition, I have been pairing it with my Emotiva BasX A-100 as it requires a lot of juice!

The original box is no longer around but will be shipped in an alternative one which can be used for storage.

Happy to ship anywhere, though we may have to split the fees if it is quite costly. Paypal Goods & Services tax is included in the price!

Beware Cables going from driver to SMC connectors of this old HE6 are brittle, mine 4-screw snapped when I was performing the blue tack mod (which I didn’t recommend anyway…)

If it happens I’m happy to solder new wires for you free of charge, as long as you pay the shipping. Only reason for me doing this is because of my love for this headphone.

I love my HE6’s and will never sell them. New owners of this EP HE6 are lucky.

Yeah he also warned me about that when I exposed the outer side; I was super careful like it was heart surgery lmao. I took a photo of it, it looks like its in great shape imo. Here is a pic:

Appreciate the offer bud, if they don't sell and a god awful situation like that occurs; i'll hit you up for sure!

New owners for this headphone are deffo lucky, the number of these out there are decreasing it seems.

Probably this headhone has a higher value, considering that it's a pre series. To me it's even more interesting for a collector
What makes you say that it is a pre-series? I haven’t heard of that in regards to the HE6 history. Any info would be appreciated!

The four chromed screws and not the black ones suggest the very first production series
That’s Early Production EP my 4-screws are the same. But certainly this is a good price for a EP HE6, I just want to help the seller and buyer of getting the history right.

And thought you might be right about pre-production because of the miss alignment of the driver, but the chrome screws doesn’t prove that it is. What others have suggested about the HIFIMAN Quality control is the most likely outcome as far as my knowledge is of help.

Maybe @elquixote has any information, as he is the one person that I’ve noticed has a massive interest on the HE6. He also owned a pre-production??

I have seen pictures of his driver, it's def a 4-screw. I did not get a chance to see the baffle and how the screws align to it. A few things are possible, HFM QC being one or a replacement driver that was not matched as it looks mirrored (my guess is if you rotate it it will align to the cup).
