I'm considering selling my beloved EC studio tribute in black. It's in very good condition and actually, in almost the same condition as the day I received it. I only had roughly less than 80 hrs on it in total. I rate it as in "Good" condition because it's 100% hand-made and I've opened its plate to exchange the 417a tubes. There are two scratches on the power supply which can be noticed from certain angles. These scratches are shown from the picture below and they came with the amplifier when I received it.

The Studio is the best headphone amplifier that I've ever owned. It's not because of the hand-made gimmick or limited units, but for the fact that it can unlock so much more potentials of the notoriously hard-to-drive headphones. I've never listened to an amplifier that delivers so much speed, transparency, micro-dynamics yet remains musical. The Studio also has good synergy with a wide range of headphones from dynamic-driver to planar headphones. I'm selling it as I found myself having little time for this hobby so it's difficult to justify keeping such pricy gear while seldom turning it on. I'm only keeping the headphones which can be 70% driven with my phone, so it's a waste to drive them with the Studio.

The Studio will come with the below tubes (all fully functional with low hours of use), which value more than $2000 in total. Please note that Studio can perfectly function with 2 pairs of different matched 2A3s or 4 matched 2A3s. As a result, the sound signature can be tuned with various combinations of 2A3 pairs, depending on the listener's personal preference.

• 1 pair of RCA 2A3 vintage double plates (cost $350 new)
• 4 matched Shuguang black treasure 2A3 (cost $600 new)
• 1 pair of KR 2A3 (cost around $600 new, forgot the exact price)
• 1 pair of TJ Full Music 2A3Q (Quanzhen 2A3Q with golden base, cost around $500 new, forgot the exact price)
• 2 pairs of WE 417a (cost $400 new)
• 1 pair of Telefunken EY500A (won't mention the price as it's not expensive)
• 1 pair of stock EY500A

Asking for $7300 or trade for a STAX T8000/BHSE + cash. US CONUS only and Manhattan local pick-up will receive a $600 discount. I prefer to sell it to a head-fier with tube amplifier experiences or with decent buying feedback.
