For sale is an amazing sounding Bottlehead S.E.X. amp along with several extra tubes. This also includes the C4S upgrade. As much as I love the Bottlehead crack, this amp was an ample step up in sound quality.

I purchased this amp from another seller on head-fi. After it arrived, I reworked the entire project to make sure everything was attached and soldered properly. I have since gone on to upgrade the amp to the absolute pinnacle of what it should be. For those who have purchased a bottlehead amp (i've sold a mainline and two cracks through headfi) I LOVE to upgrade and tweak these to perfection.

This is the newer 3.0 version of the amp, and does have the C4S constant current upgrade as well.

I've added an excellent Audio Note potentiometer. This helped quite a bit because as this is a powerful amp it needed more sensitivity at lower volume (which is where I listen.)

I've also added Jantzen Superior Z caps and Miflex KPCU-01 caps to replace the stock capacitors. Then I added a small of f.0q tape in certain areas to eliminate resonance.

The end result is an amp that ran every headphone I threw at them, from high impedance zmf to hungry he6se and moondrop iems. I also ran the HE6SE through the speaker taps with an adapter and it worked perfectly, and was aweeesome. *Price includes shipping and paypal to conus.* I know how to ship Bottlehead amps so you should expect to get it in the same shape you see the amp. The wood base has some chips from previous shipping and is functional, but not the best. Might be a fun project to make another base.
